Chamber Choir 

Thanks for your interest in the Chamber Choir.  We have 3 seasons that revolve around our major concerts.  Ideally, membership encompasses the full year but some singers can only commit to certain seasons depending on sports participation. 

 

Audition Procedure

Hello singers,

Please use the resources in this DROP BOX and the instructions below to submit your audition recording by Sunday, January 5th 2020

 

Audition Procedure

1.  Use the two page score and individual voice recording to learn your part for That Lonesome Road

2.  Record yourself singing along to the individual voice recording that matches your part

3.  Record yourself singing your voice part along with the SATB recording

4.  Send both recordings to Julie Freebern by Sunday, 1/5/20 (3/22/20)

5.  Results will be communicated by Thursday 1/9/20 (3/26/20)

6.  If accepted, Season 2 contracts are due on or before the first rehearsal scheduled for Friday 1/10/20(3/27/20)

Attendance Policy

Any absence requires the following:

 

• Communication(email Julie reminders, on the day, etc.)

• Make Up Session Prior to the Next Rehearsal(email Julie who, where & when i.e. we are cutting these measures, we are breathing here in stead of here, the altos are now singing tenor on this page, we worked on vowel color here….etc.

 

Case by Case Situations Determine the need for the following within a Season:

1. Re-auditioning

2. Song Reduction

3. Membership Removal

1. Veteran members re-audition year to year

2. Peer Tutoring/Make Up Connections be Respectful, Constructive & Received in the Spirit of Support/Honoring Group Commitment vs. Punishment
